Friday Four

I'm figuring that resurrecting this every three months is enough to just about keep it alive.

Last time around we finished up with this song

So what links that song with this one...

then what links that song with this one...

and what links the second song to this one...

and finally what's the link between that song and this one...

and there you have it... four songs linked in a chain (with apologies to Radcliffe & Maconie) all you need to do is tell me is the four links. And very easy this week I think - Off you go Neil ;-)

  1. You're very persistent, Ian. I think I have the answers, but will look again tomorrow.

  2. Can't find how to send you an email, so you'll have to delete this if you want someone else (who?) to comment.

OK, the first one is easy because it's a Kinks' song.

The second made me smile, because I compiled a list of London railway station songs recently and these are two of them.

The reason I am only just writing is that, rack my brains though I might for a couple of days, I couldn't think of a link to the third track. So I googled 'Neneh Cherry' and discovered that she's Swedish. Didn't know that. I thought Don Cherry was her father, not her step-father, so there we are.

And the link to the last is a McLaren song called Buffalo Gals.
    Any good?

  3. Neil gets it again. You'd almost think no-one else was playing wouldn't you?!
